🌷 Automation is in the air 🌷

Business trips always offer exciting insights: new perspectives, inspiring conversations, and the chance to experience customers and projects directly on site. And sometimes you get an extra reward—like yesterday in Weinheim, with glorious weather, impressive castle ruins, and a view that simply does you good.
Meanwhile, preparations for our “Proof of Concept” day were in full swing at our location in Suhl. The result: a complete success.
The home team scored with precise technology, while the away team impressed with flexible automation concepts...
Let's hope it continues like this – including the weather.

Mechanical engineering, on the other hand, is a field of study in its own right.
It is an engineering discipline based on physics, mechanics, materials science, design, and automation—and it produces technologies that really make a difference in the world.
As “machine creators,” we build works of art that run automatically, that produce, transport, test, and drive industrial processes.
We are mechanical engineers.
We develop solutions that enable thousands of processes every day.
Robust. Precise. Reliable.

Automation starts with a pencil
30 Jan, 2026
Many medium-sized companies do not have their own department for automation or production planning. Often, a single project manager handles everything at once – sales, development, industrialization, and series support. From my time as a production planner at Brose Group, I know: the first draft usually begins in the mind – and then on paper. Perfect concepts don’t exist, but the first line counts. And sometimes it also needs to be erased again. We support our clients from simple assembly aids to fully automated lines – everywhere efficiency in production is needed. If you are thinking about automation, let’s take the first step together. ✏️ Our pencils are sharpened 🖥️ The CAD is ready 🔌 The cables are set 🔧 The tools are ready #IndustrialEngineering #ProductionPlanning #OEE #ROI…
About automation and wet towels...
16 Jan, 2026
You can throw the truth at people like a wet towel.
Or you can help them into it – like a comfortable coat.
For many, their first encounter with automation technology is unfortunately exactly like that wet towel.
Typical scene:
Production manager: “A #robot would be cool. Preferably a #cobot!”
Wet towel holders now say:
“Have you cleared this with the #safety officer?”
“No one here can operate it.”
“Do you actually know how expensive it is?”
“That thing will take our jobs!”
...and so on.
💡 My suggestion: Let us hold your coat for you.
With our technologically diverse #toolbox, we develop scalable, precise, and future-proof automation solutions—without drama, without compromise.

And yet another machine ready for pickup on time 🚀
Yesterday, we delivered another #machine to our customer. Designed, engineered, built, and successfully commissioned in-house.
The #core process this time: #riveting.
The system:
✅ Rivets components exactly according to the drawing
✅ Checks the force-displacement curve
✅ Performs an automatic vision inspection
✅ Hands over a finished ZSB to the operator
Highlights: Compact footprint, cycle time: 20 seconds
What makes us particularly proud: Thanks to our high level of vertical integration, we can accompany every step live in-house – from the idea to the design to the final assembly. This creates #transparency, #speed, and #quality that you can feel.
It is always fascinating to see how a #production plant emerges from a #s…
