Still on the right track 🌿
During the funding handover for the KHoR, it wasn't just the sun that made us melt. Experiencing how a vision gradually turns into reality was a truly special moment for us and everyone involved.
Â
Erik Findeisen, the city of Suhl, and everyone who believed in this one idea were impressively confirmed: High-ranking representatives of Thuringia's state politics clearly showed their support.
Â
With the handing over of a funding notice amounting to around 1.14 million euros, the official starting signal was given for the Competence Center for Timber Construction and Renewable Resources (KHoR) in Suhl-Nord. Together with Thuringia's Prime Minister Mario Voigt, Environment Minister Tilo Kummer, and Infrastructure Minister Steffen Schütz, the establishment of a new central platform for innovation, research, and knowledge transfer in timber construction was sealed.
Â
The competence center pursues clear goals:
✔ Strengthening regional value chains in timber construction
✔ Closer networking between research, craft, and business
✔ Promoting sustainable and climate-friendly building
✔ Faster transfer of innovations into practice
Â
A strong signal for the region – and an important step toward a sustainable future.
Zwerrenz Automation Technology GmbH supports this project with conviction. Not just because we stand up for our city and our forest – but also because as an innovator, we see the potential.
We’ve often walked this path to the heights. 🦾
🌲 We’re continuing to stick to the timber path.
Stay tuned.
